This is her reaction to the bike.
I'm really feeling like a crappy mom for not spending the extra $20.
I start thinking that we can go and trade it in and get the one she really wants... So I ask "why are you crying? I thought you wanted a bike?" Iza said, "I thought you were going to get me a Polly Pocket!!!" Seriously? She wants a $5 Polly Pocket! What the heck! So I said, "No problem Isabelle. We can take the bike back and get you a Polly Pocket."
As you can clearly see from her smile, we won't be trading the Sea Star in for a Polly Pocket. She didn't even notice it wasn't the Barbie Bike! Phew...

That is such a classic story, I love it. She looks happy on her bike and that Barbie one was probably really dumb ;) so good choice-what a great mom you are!!!
Kids...I tell ya! You never know how to please them. It looks like you figured it out even though she didn't realize it at first.
Come on, even my boy has an official Barbie scooter. really, he 'inherited' it from his sisters. That's the problem with having a boy after 2 girls and now back to a girl. I'm itching to guy buy that girl a Polly Pocket though. Better you picking up that crazy tiny stuff than me. Happy Birthday Iza.
Hi Mandy! I stumbled onto your blog via Harmony and Celia's blog. I just wanted to say hello. Your girls are adorable. I especially love Lucy's middle name. :) Email me! I'd love to chat and catch up! jane.chipman at comcast.net. Now go buy your daughter that Polly Pocket!!!
This was hilarious! Seriously, I love pictures like that of my kids crying for whatever sick, twisted, warped reason. I guess it's because it tells a story and that is one funny story!
p.s. Your house is beautiful!
